Our Team

Lacey graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2014 after receiving her Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Simon Fraser University in 2010 and an Honours BA from UBC in 2007. She has a passion for teaching and helping others which drew her to the physiotherapy profession. Currently, Lacey is the Founder & CEO of Bump Physio & Co a boutique physiotherapy brand in the Lower Mainland. Bump Physio & Co began in March of 2018, and since then has grown quickly, but our mission remains the same; to actively listen to our clients, to empower them in health and to provide exceptional quality pelvic health, pre and postpartum care. In her role, Lacey maintains an active clinical caseload and is involved in teaching and mentoring physiotherapists.

In addition to her role at Bump, Lacey is an active member within the physiotherapy profession though her ongoing membership with PABC, CPA and the Women’s Health Division. She is also a teaching assistant with Pelvic Health Solutions as well as an instructor with the Jackson Clinic Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the physiotherapy profession in Kenya and Ethiopia when they launched their pelvic health program. She is passionate about disseminating knowledge in pelvic health and pre and postnatal care, all through a trauma informed lens.

Outside of work, Lacey is an active Mom of 2 tween boys so most likely you’ll catch her with coffee in hand either at the local ice rink or on the side of the soccer pitch.

Kimberley graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2007. She went on to continue her education at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2010 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Since graduating, she has returned to BC, and has been working in the Fraser Valley helping people get healthy, optimize their function and return to the things they love!

Kimberley is a lifelong learner who is always keen to expand her knowledge and skill set. After years of working in private practice, treating a wide variety of clients with various orthopedic conditions, it was this drive to further understand how the body functions that lead her to pursue further training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (well, that and having 2 kids)!

Kimberley employs a client centered, biopsychosocial, and active approach to treatment. She draws from her educational background in Kinesiology and post graduate training in manual therapy and dry needling to tailor a treatment plan to each individual based on the nature of their presenting concern, their stage in recovery, and their goals for treatment. She recognizes that to achieve optimal treatment outcomes it must be recognized that each individual functions as a whole person who knows their body best and is required to be an active participation their own recovery.

In her spare time you can find her building sandcastle at the beach with her two littles, exploring nature with her family, and attempting to find time to do some self-care she recommend for her clients (reading a book, doing some yoga, deep breathing…)!

Janelle completed her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology at Simon Fraser University in 2008. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, she worked as a Teaching Assistant in the secondary school system and coached track, volleyball, and soccer.

In 2014, Janelle completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and started her career in public practice where she developed extensive experience in post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedics, arthritis, geriatric and general surgery. More recently, Janelle chooses to work both in public and private practice, where her focus is on active rehabilitation by creating and guiding individual and group exercise programs.

As a new mom, Janelle has developed an interest in women’s health following her own experiences returning to exercise postpartum. Her recent coursework includes Diane Lee’s “The Abdominal Wall after pregnancy and Diastasis Rectus Abdominus” and is currently completing her training in Rehabilitation Mat & Reformer Pilates through STOTT Pilates.

Janelle firmly believes Pilates helps to improve body awareness, flexibility, and strength. She uses a combination of Pilates principles, manual therapy, soft tissue work, traditional exercises, and education to help restore optimal levels of functioning and to empower her clients in their daily lives.

On her days off, you may find Janelle hiking, kayaking, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends. She loves to listen to reggae, dance, and paint with acrylics.

I’m Ale, I was born in Colombia and moved to North Vancouver when I was 7 years old. Here, I fell in love with all that BC has to offer. I grew up as a competitive swimmer and received a swimming scholarship to Concordia University in sunny Irvine California. Here, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science. A few years later, I moved to Kingston Ontario to complete my Masters’ of Physical Therapy degree at Queens University.

My Why?

My entire life, I have always loved helping others. In becoming a physiotherapist, I am privileged to help my clients improve their quality of life here at Bump Physio & Co. I believe this is the best gift I could ever give someone. While I was a student, I quickly realized, that I had a keen interest in pelvic health.

I am passionate about working as a pelvic floor physiotherapist because there is a huge gap in care. I want to bring more awareness and knowledge about what women can do to improve their quality of life pre and postpartum. More importantly, to empower women with the knowledge to better understand their pelvis and how it ties so closely to everything we do and how our bodies function. I also enjoy and have experience working with adults and children in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports injuries.

I have completed my Pelvic Health Levels 1-3 through Pelvic Health Solutions as well as a Soft Tissue Release Course. I am eager to continuing my education to better serve my patients.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love exploring BC’s hikes and will jump into any body of water when given the opportunity. I am thrilled to be a part of the amazing team at Bump and I look forward to improving your pelvic health soon!

I completed my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Sydney in 2013 after obtaining my Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at SFU. My passion for travel led me to jump at the opportunity to study abroad. I have visited over 15 countries and can’t wait to travel again when the kids are older. Running is my therapy and I have completed numerous half-marathons, marathons, and some sprint triathlons.

My interest in pelvic health sparked when I was a young girl watching my mom suffer from gynecological issues which set me on a path as a healthcare practitioner to be able to make a difference and help others. I am passionate about lifelong learning and have completed numerous post-graduate courses in manual therapy, pelvic health, Clinical Pilates, Physio Acupuncture, and IMS/dry needling. I completed the Connect Therapy™ Series with Dr. Linda Joy Lee which involves whole body assessment, finding the root cause of dysfunction, and treating the whole person. I have a holistic care approach to assessing and treating the pelvic floor and how it functions with the rest of the body. More recently, I have taken cranial sacral therapy and visceral therapy courses to better understand our nervous system and connections with the internal organs. 

The body and mind are interconnected and I strive to create a safe space for people to talk about their pelvic health. I believe strongly in listening to my clients and having you as an active participant in your treatment plan. 

I LOVE what I do: helping people to live their fullest lives with joy and good health. Since having kids, I am even more committed to specializing my practice in pelvic health. I am so lucky to be surrounded by compassionate and talented teammates at BUMP.  I am excited to meet YOU and help you get back to doing the things you love with confidence and ease!

I completed my Master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, and my Bachelor’s of Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University. I became passionate about pelvic health when I became pregnant with my son and experienced for myself the profound effect pelvic physiotherapy can have on health and quality of life. My primary goal as a clinician is to help my clients feel comfortable and empowered, and to consider the whole person when providing treatment.

I have recently moved to Port Moody from Toronto, and although I love the food, culture, and people in Toronto, I am falling in love with the breweries, ocean, and endless hiking options in Port Moody. In my spare time you can typically find me park-hopping with my toddler, picnicking with friends, or doing activities that revolve around eating great food.

I value lifelong learning and ongoing education. Over the past 6 years I’ve gained experience in conditions involving neurological rehab, vestibular rehab, persistent pain, and musculoskeletal injuries. I have taken several post-graduate courses to improve my skills including both internal and external pelvic floor training, MDT McKenzie training for treatment of the spine and extremities, and vestibular rehabilitation training.

Mama to two adorable kids and wife to an ultra-patient IT consultant :blush: I have over 18 years of clinical experience in Sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy and more recently I’ve become certified in Clinical Pilates and in Pelvic Health.

My interest in Pelvic Health started in my 1st pregnancy in 2015. Having experienced some firsthand challenges pre and post-pregnancy, I explored and learned ways to make my pregnancy journey meaningful and successful. Education has been a powerful tool for me, both in preparation for pregnancy, in pregnancy and in my postpartum recovery.

It is my passion to educate and empower clients. It allows your recovery to be less limited by unfounded fears (both in thought and movement!) and to focus on the gains (outcomes?) and goals of the visit. I am an advocate for human movement and mechanics! Both in my day-to-day life and clinical practice, I am always guided with the belief that everyone has a voice or journey to be shared and heard.

I value lifelong learning, and my additional course work includes: Calibrate Pilates (Reformer and Mat), Pelvic Health Level 1, Level 2 Orthopedic Levels in Manual Therapy, ROST Therapy training for Sacro-Iliac Pain, Power Over Prolapse course, K-Taping Pro Course.

Personally, I value faith, family and integrity. I enjoy “park hopping” with my kids, unplanned picnics with the family, fabulous farmer’s market finds and discovering great hole in the wall restaurants or small cafes! I look forward to meeting you!

Carol was born and raised in Montreal, Québec. She is a registered physiotherapist that completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and her Masters of Physical Therapy from McGill University provided in extension at the University of Québec in Chicoutimi.

Carol believes that her previous experience as a gymnast will be an asset to her Pilates skills. Incorporating flexibility, strength and fluidity of movement into her practice. She believes in a client-centered approach that involves Pilates, traditional exercises, manual skills and education to empower her clients to achieve their functional goals. Carol is excited to start treating prenatal and post-partum health as she believes that women should feel empowered, confident, and strong through their care.

Previously to joining Bump Physio & Co, Carol worked for many years with clients with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and post-concussion syndrome.

My name is Mette, I was born and raised in Denmark, but moved to Vancouver in 2016 with my husband and kids. My husband received an amazing job offer and we saw the opportunity to move abroad, take a chance on an adventure and gain a new perspective to our daily lives.

I grew up in the countryside of Denmark. I love being surrounded by nature and staying active through soccer and gymnastics. Through sport, I found an interest in the body and movement, and the importance of physical and mental health. I knew this was something I wanted to pursue.

Graduating from University College Lillebaelt, Odense, Denmark in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. I have since worked primarily at orthopedic clinics and as a Pilates teacher. My passion is to involve my clients in their own care and promote movement. Movement has a fundamental influence on a person’s physical and mental well-being, which I want to encourage in a way that makes sense for each person.

I have taken several courses through my career with special interest in shoulder, fysioflow (myofascial training), Pilates, McKenzie (lumbar A), and have now completed Pelvic Health Solutions level 1 and 2. Pelvic floor has always had my interest because of its close connection with Pilates, but I wanted more clinical and personal experience going into this intimate area. Now having given birth 3 times and all were very different experiences, I appreciate all the knowledge and research that is going into pelvic health. I am very excited to be a part of this very knowledgeable team and help you improve your pelvic health.

In my spare time, you will see me with my sons at their various activities with a coffee in hand or outside enjoying the beautiful nature in BC.

I was born and raised in the beautiful province of British Columbia, where I completed both my Bachelors of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to get into a profession that allowed me to help others. That, along with my passion for sports steered me in the direction of becoming a physiotherapist.

Why pelvic floor physiotherapy?

Once I began my Masters program, I developed an interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy as I discovered loved ones around me were silently living with pelvic floor dysfunctions and pain. I saw how issues like incontinence, constipation, prolapse, poor scar mobility, dyspareunia, impacted not only their physical health but also their, mental, social, and emotional well-being. This allowed me to understand and appreciate the integral role pelvic health plays in our daily function and overall quality of life. I knew right then, I wanted to be part of the change, erasing the stigma and normalizing conversations around pelvic health that is not openly discussed.

I strongly believe in taking the time to build strong therapeutic connections with my clients in a space where they feel seen, safe, and supported with whatever they may be experiencing. My goal is to empower all my clients, no matter what stage of life, to feel confident in their bodies, comfortable talking about their bodies and capable in what their bodies can do. My approach is to provide clients with a foundation of knowledge, exercises, manual therapy, and self-management strategies, to help achieve any goal they set out for themselves, pre- or post-natal, no matter how big or small!

Hello, I’m Pav! I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University before moving to Australia to complete my Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Sydney. During my time in Australia, I gained experience working in a variety of areas such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private clinics where I worked alongside patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions.

I moved back to Canada in 2021 and joined the Bump Team as a Client Experience Coordinator whilst preparing for my physiotherapy registration exam. It was during this time with Bump that I found my interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and a desire to educate women on their health and support them in their return to normal activities whilst improving their overall quality of life.

I truly believe every individual is unique in their own way and so are their goals, which is why I like to structure each patient’s course of treatment around their desired goals. My treatment approach is focused around providing education and exercise-based therapy and allowing clients to be active participants in their course of care. Making sure my patients feel heard and comfortable is of utmost importance to me.

Outside of the clinic you can find me spending time with my dog, family/friends, keeping up with Sports TV or catching sunsets with a cup of coffee!

Hello, I’m Meagan! I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Born and raised in Vancouver, I love the mountains, the ocean, and the city. I consider myself a true Vancouverite.

I am excited to bring a new lens to pelvic floor rehab to the Bump Physio Community. I have been an athlete my entire life competing in various sports including track and field, wrestling, and now as a competitive Olympic weightlifter, I am passionate about treating athletes who struggle with pelvic floor related issues in addition to anyone hoping to return to sport or optimize their day to day activities.

I strive to provide each client with a safe space that is free of judgment in order to work towards their physiotherapy goals. I utilize a person-centered approach to my practice. I believe that an individual’s psychological, physiological and social well-being all play into how they are feeling and strive to help my clients regain confidence and excel in all three aspects using a combination of manual therapy, exercise and patient education.

On my days off, you can catch me hiking with my dog, Kairo, spending the day on my paddle board in the ocean, or training with my team in Richmond in the evenings!

Hi, I’m Gurmeen! I was born and raised in Calgary a.k.a Cowtown. Although I will forever be a Flames fan, I am super stoked about moving to B.C and being a part of the Bump Family! I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. I am also a certified yoga teacher!  

Growing up I wanted to be a part of a profession that focused on supporting individuals with the tools they needed to improve their health. As a stress reliever from school, I began regularly practicing yoga, barre, and pilates, where I was introduced to the pelvic floor and core. During physio school, I learned more about pelvic floor physiotherapy and was amazed about the connection between our pelvic floor and physical activity/movement! Moreover, I realized how real pelvic health concerns are and how important it is to create actual change versus band-aid solutions. Working together with my clients, I hope to decrease the stigma around pelvic health and empower/support others on their healing journeys. Some of my treatment approaches include providing clients with education, self-management strategies, and personalized exercise programs. 

In my free time, I love doing yoga, trying new wineries/breweries with my husband, and hanging out with friends and family. As I have newly moved to BC this summer, I’m excited to go on hikes and try new restaurants around the city.

Hello there, I’m Alyssa! I hold a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and, more recently, a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. My passion for physical therapy is deeply rooted in the belief that effective, comfortable, and functional movement is key to enjoying life to the fullest and achieving a high quality of life.

Women’s health is a cause close to my heart, and I advocate for it through specialized pelvic health physical therapy, offering individualized treatment. I prioritize open communication to create a welcoming treatment space tailored to your needs, wants, and goals. Alongside focusing on the pelvic floor, I adopt a whole-body/holistic approach to guide you back to the activities you love.

The most rewarding aspect of being a physiotherapist, for me, is working closely alongside you in your recovery, empowering you to reach your individual goals. I am interested in pre-/postpartum care, the role of the pelvic floor in sports and running and assisting those looking to become more active in their day-to-day lives! When I’m not at Bump, you’ll find me applying my physio skills in the ICU and cardiac surgery units at Royal Columbian Hospital.

In my free time, you can find me exploring BC through hiking and backpacking, and I’m always on the lookout for the best restaurants in the Lower Mainland. I’m also passionate about travelling – I’ve been to 13 countries and counting. Ask me about my time in New Zealand! I’m excited about the prospect of meeting you and being a part of your recovery journey!

Hi, I’m Alyce. I was born and raised in Australia and moved to Vancouver in 2023. I completed my Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia. I also completed my Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at ACU in Melbourne. 

I’ve had a long time passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and clinical Pilates, and more recently, finding immense satisfaction in pelvic floor physiotherapy and helping women to live their best lives. 

When I’m not in the clinic you’ll find me at the beach, hiking, or trying to find the best coffee in Vancouver with my fiancé and our fur baby, Mikey. 

Hi! My name is Rachel. I graduated from UBC with my Master’s in Physical Therapy and from UBC Okanagan with a Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics! I grew up in Surrey, BC and have always appreciated the proximity to nature we are allowed here. I’m a lover of running, horse-back riding, reading and hiking! 

Women’s health is a passion dear to my heart. I began my journey as a personal trainer and continued to pursue degrees that added to my toolbox to aid the people around me. As an athlete and woman, providing care that encourages movement while also creating a safe space is something that is at the core of my practice. I am interested in pre and postpartum care, pelvic health, running/sports, and helping women move in a way that works for them. 

Outside of the clinic, you will likely find me running on local trails, curled up with a coffee and reading a good book (I will bring in my Mockingjay necklace from the Hunger Games if you ask), or planning my next mountain get-away. I can’t wait to meet you!

Hello I’m Nicola! I was born and raised in the beautiful city of North Vancouver and completed both my Bachelors of Behavioral Neuroscience and Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. I have always had a passion for helping people, so I am overjoyed to have found a career where I can blend my love for exercise, education, pelvic/perinatal conditions and sport!

My interest in pelvic floor physio started when I was a student as I realized just how many people struggle with hidden pelvic health concerns. I discovered the integral role the pelvic floor plays in our daily quality of life, and wanted to be part of the movement to de-stigmatize, advocate, and truly make a difference for those living with pelvic health dysfunction. I want to help close the huge gap that currently exists in our healthcare system, and can’t think of a better way to do it. I have a special interest in getting you back to sport/activity due to my background in martial arts and other various sports!

I am excited for a career of lifelong learning, so far I have completed my Pelvic Health Levels 1-2 and been certified by the CPA Orthopedic Division for their Level 1 Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Program.

Whether it’s your very first physiotherapy appointment or you’re a seasoned regular, the most important thing to me is making sure you feel safe, comfortable and empowered every session. My goal is always to work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that works for you and your unique situation.

Outside clinic hours you can find me lifting weights at the gym, mountain biking on Fromme, trail running with my dog, skiing at Whistler, hitting some Muay Thai pads, or trying new recipes!

Hi I’m Ashley! I’m originally from Vancouver Island and I graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2011. My passion for massage began while travelling internationally and from my previous experience as a spa therapist. As an RMT, I have a wide range of practice interests including scar tissue/post surgery treatment, sport/overuse injuries and pre/post natal treatment.

My certifications include Clinical Pilates, Graston M1 course, and I’m currently pursuing my visceral manipulation certification in hopes to be able to help those with chronic pelvic pain. My passion for treating this population comes from my personal experience with it and I hope to provide pain relief in a safe and supportive space. I have grown as a massage therapist by being exposed to so many different clinical populations including the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Toronto Raptors, Olympic athletes and spa experience. As an advocate for preventative therapy, Ashley empowers her clients through education, encourages a proactive lifestyle and believes that massage is essential to your overall well-being.

Pamela graduated in 2012 from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and has continued to immerse herself in education ever since. She is experienced in a broad spectrum of conditions, with a focus on abdominal/pelvic girdle pain, mastectomy treatment, female pelvis viscera, scar tissue/post-surgical treatment, core rehabilitation, and pre/post-natal care.  She is a firm believer that movement is the foundation for both preventing and managing pain and will integrate active rehab into your treatment plan in a way that feels manageable for your lifestyle. Her goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental treatment space for her clients, approaching her practice with compassion and integrity.

Through experiencing her own pre and post-natal journey, Pamela has developed a deep passion for women’s health care. She is committed to empowering and supporting her clients through all seasons of life and the changes that their bodies may go through.

Jennifer is a WCCMT graduate of 2018 and was chosen by her peers and instructors to be awarded the Joe Koscak Leadership Award for exemplifying integrity, passion, perseverance, a passionate heart and a caring soul.

With a passion for helping others and years of experience as a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter, becoming an RMT was a natural choice for her. She combines her expertise as a functional movement coach and certified Pilates instructor with her first-hand experience in rehabilitating her own body to provide well-rounded, empathetic care.

Believing that the human body is designed to move and that maintaining optimal movement is essential, she is committed to ongoing education. She continually deepens her knowledge in therapeutic Pilates, myofascial release, scar tissue manipulation, rehabilitation, pre/postnatal care, and pelvic girdle health to better support her clients.

Jennifer has always been passionate about helping people and providing a safe and welcoming environment especially to have discussions about health areas that can go overlooked – such as the pelvic floor. Jennifer is deeply grateful to be part of the Bump team and your journey. She’s excited to work with you to help you achieve your goals.

Jak graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2022. During his time in college, Jak completed a comprehensive case study to measure the effects of myofascial release on a post-surgical gender-affirming top surgery (double mastectomy) patient. He learned a lot throughout the process of this study and was motivated by the positive results. This expanded his interest and focus in this area of massage and with providing a space for post-surgical patients to receive valuable care to aid in their recovery. Jak is also aware of the importance of having a safe space for LGBT2QIA+ folks to access care. This is something that Jak is deeply passionate about, and strives to provide for anyone seeking such a space, wherever you are in your journey.

Jak has a passion for continual learning and deepening their understanding of all things massage (and the very cool things that massage can do!). With that, Jak continued his education around temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD) with the TMJ Mastery course in an effort to deepen his skillset by offering both intra and extraoral modalities of treatment to further help his patients.

While these are some special areas of focus, Jak also has a wide range of experience treating pre and post-natal clients, tension headaches, chronic pain conditions, nervous system support, digestive support, injury management, and more. Whatever you need help with, Jak has a strong focus on providing care that is non-judgemental, body neutral, supportive, and meeting clients where they’re at for a collaborative approach to health and recovery.

In his own time, Jak enjoys working out, time spent in nature, riding his motorcycle, and feeding and watching the local hummingbirds.

Jak is excited to work with Bump and continue to expand his knowledge around pelvic health and perinatal care, and be an integral part of your health care team.

Meghan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and holds a Masters of Counselling from City University of Seattle. Meghan believes that counselling is a collaborative undertaking focused on empowering individuals to make the best choices for themselves to find their best wellbeing. She always strives to provide a culturally sensitive space inclusive of all individuals and relationships. Meghan uses a strength-based and client-centred approached that focuses on alleviating the weight of shame that we carry and highlight the strength that it took you to get to the place you are at today. She focuses on being trauma informed and draws from Internal Family Systems.

Through having children, she understands the strain of daily caretaking and the toll it takes on the body, mind, relationships, and sense of self. She is passionate about supporting parents wellness to help them show up as their best self for themselves and their children. Whether it is managing pregnancy, postpartum and parenting, or coping with trauma, difficult relationships, anxiety, or depression, she is passionate about creating a safe place to explore and create change.

When she is not working, she is busy spending time with her young kids or reading everything.

Robyn is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from UBC. She is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). As a counsellor, Robyn works from a person-centered approach to support clients to feel less overwhelmed by difficult emotions, better understand their values and needs, improve relationships, and feel more compassion for themselves.

Robyn was drawn towards working in perinatal mental health after the birth of her first child. What she discovered through her own postpartum experience and her connections with other moms was that many were finding the transition to parenthood to be much harder than anticipated, and often alone with how they were feeling. Recognizing the need for more support and awareness in this area, Robyn completed her certification in perinatal mental health and has also completed training in perinatal grief and loss.

Working from a trauma-informed and intersectional feminist approach, she is experienced in supporting clients with feelings of shame, overwhelm, anxiety, and depression, as well as struggles with past trauma, and relationship and parenting challenges.

Additionally, Robyn is certified in Menopause Mental Health. Recognizing the complex bio-psycho-social changes that come with the menopause transition, she helps clients navigate its impact on mental health with care and support.

Recognizing the courage it can take to come to counselling, Robyn works to ensure her clients feel heard and understood, and ultimately, empowered. Born and raised in beautiful North Vancouver, Robyn always feels at home when exploring trails, surrounded by trees. She loves coffee, tea, chocolate, and getting lost in books. On the weekends with her family, Robyn will often be at the hockey rink, exploring a new park, or having a kitchen dance party.

Hi I’m Ally! I am a Registered Kinesiologist and member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. Originally from Calgary, my passion for health and fitness began during my years as a competitive athlete. This led me to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, where I played varsity soccer while completing my Bachelor’s in Human Kinetics, specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

I became passionate about pelvic health when I first started working as a Kinesiologist and discovered how many people can benefit from pelvic floor exercise and proper pre and postnatal care. My goal as a practitioner is to connect with my clients and create a supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and cared for.

Since graduating in 2019, I have gained valuable experience in active rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and clinical exercise prescription, working in both Canada and the United Kingdom. In addition to pelvic floor & pre and postnatal exercise rehab, my other areas of expertise include; neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, pre- and post-operative rehab, ICBC cases, and strength and conditioning training for athletes.

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with family and friends, training for my next Hyrox event, or trying out new cafes and restaurants! 

Kat was born in Poland, and immigrated to Canada with her family as a young child. She still speaks fluent Polish! Kat graduated from the University of British Columbia with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, and has been working in the fitness industry for 16 years. She is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and is comprehensively trained in teaching the Pilates Method.

Kat has experienced first hand the importance of pelvic floor and core rehabilitation after the birth of her first child. Being physically fit throughout her entire adult life, Kat was shocked by the changes her body endured postpartum. Weakened pelvic floor muscles, diastasis recti, and a consistently aching lower and upper back motivated her to enroll in the Bellies Inc. Core Confidence program. Kat was impressed by how much she learned in a relatively short amount of time. The course opened her eyes to just how little support is provided for postpartum care when it comes to pelvic floor and core rehabilitation. Upon completion, Kat felt like she finally found her calling in the world of exercise! Kat is driven to help her clients succeed in gaining confidence in their bodies through exercise rehabilitation and self love and acceptance.

When she is not working with clients, or talking to other moms about their fertility, prenatal, and postpartum journeys, Kat loves to spend her free time exploring the outdoors with her family – camping, hiking, or just park hopping, having silly dance parties in her kitchen with her two kids, watching stand up comedy with her husband, writing, or working on an arts and crafts project!

Hi, I’m Jessica! I was born and raised in Vancouver and Richmond. I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and am also a certified personal trainer. 

Growing up I was involved in various sports, such as basketball and volleyball, which sparked my interest in health and wellness. This led me to pursue a career focused on supporting others in feeling stronger, and more confident in their daily life. I am very passionate about women’s health in particular, having personally navigated through challenges such as hormonal imbalance and ovarian cysts. Through my own experiences, I understand the importance of self-advocacy, and I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where all my clients feel heard and supported. 

When I’m not working, I love staying active through boxing, dance, and yoga. I am also a huge foodie and love discovering new restaurants and trying out different cuisines with my friends and family!

Rosie has her Bachelor of Physical Education, Coaching, and Kinesiology degree and is a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiology (BCAK). She also has a youth exercise specialization (YES), a performance enhancement specialization (PES), and education in postpartum fitness.

Rosie grew up playing sports and was involved in high-level soccer for most of her life. Her love for sports eventually evolved into a passion for movement and exercise, leading her to pursue a career in this field. After experiencing the challenges of dealing with compartment syndrome in both of her legs, she had to put a pause on soccer and focus on rehab but her drive to stay active and help others grew.

While she’s worked with a wide variety of clients, she’s found a special passion for supporting women, particularly moms, in all aspects of women’s health. Rosie understands the importance of helping women feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their bodies. She thrives on creating an inclusive environment where everyone can feel empowered, supported, and motivated to reach their goals.

When Rosie isn’t in clinic you will find her somewhere hiking, exploring new places or hanging out with friends.

With her background in digital marketing and as a birth doula, joining the Bump team as Digital/Social Media Marketing Manager is a dream come true for Stephanie.  As a birth doula, Stephanie has been honored to support hundreds of families throughout the Lower Mainland through the transformative journey of childbirth.

In the digital marketing realm, Stephanie brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience in the healthcare field.  With a deep understanding of nurturing relationships and fostering trust, she uses digital modalities to connect with people on an authentic and empowering level.

Stephanie loves that social media makes education accessible to a wider audience and she has long been using her platform to spread awareness of the pelvic floor as it relates to childbirth and postpartum recovery, pelvic health, as well as the overall importance of movement in one’s daily life.

Outside of work, Steph is an active mom to three human children and one, very adorable English bulldog who snores loudly and absolutely does not like to walk.

Sara joined the Bump Physio & Co. team in May 2021 as our Client Experience Coordinator at our new Langley location. She adds seven years of clinical administration experience and a bright personality to our team. When not in the clinic, you can probably find Sara in the art studio. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and has her own side-hustle creating abstract paintings for clients. Sara’s BFA thesis was heavily themed in finding empowerment, strength, and self-love within herself and continues to share that passion to support other women on their journey in that as well.

Katrina’s love for movement and health started during her 12-year stint as a ballet dancer. Inspired by this passion, she decided to study kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley, where she recently snagged her bachelor’s degree. Excited about the idea of working in a space that champions women’s empowerment and offers insights into women’s health, Katrina looks forward to meeting new people and making a positive impact in their lives.

In her downtime, Katrina enjoys outdoor escapades with her trusty sidekick, Luna. When she’s indoors, you’ll often find her chilling with her pets, Jynx and Luna, either engrossed in a good book or catching up on movies.

Ciara is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is hoping to attend graduate school for Behavioural Neuroscience or Clinical Counselling. She loves helping others and strives to put a smile on everyone’s face. Throughout the years, she has coached multiple girls’ volleyball teams and has devoted her time to women’s sports. Ciara is dedicated to empowering and encouraging women and believes that everyone should have access to a safe and supportive environment.

In her free time, Ciara loves to play volleyball, hang out with her pets, binge her favourite Netflix shows, and travel to new places! She is hoping to volunteer at a mental health call centre in the near future.

Ciara is super excited to be a part of the Bump Physio Team and to provide exceptional care (and smiles) to all clients!

Hello, I’m Manvir! I’m in my second year of pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major in health sciences. My journey in this field is fueled by a passion for promoting balance and wellness. As I navigate my academic path, I am particularly drawn to understanding our healthcare system and inspired to contribute towards its improvement.

A core value of mine is the sharing of knowledge. I am enthusiastic about delving deeper into women’s health, particularly focusing on the pelvic floor, and contributing insights to build an informed community.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I enjoy going to the gym with friends and family, going on walks, journaling, and expressing my creativity through coloring or painting.

I am excited to be a part of the Bump team and look forward to contributing to creating a welcoming atmosphere!

My name is Amritha. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. I am thrilled to join the Bump team and bring my passion for women’s health and wellness. My interest in this field comes from personal experiences with health professionals and managing pain, which have inspired me to help individuals feel comfortable and supported as they seek care.

Many women struggle with pain, and pelvic floor health is often not discussed enough. I believe that every woman deserves to feel heard and cared for, and I am committed to contributing to this mission at Bump.

In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, spending quality time with friends and family, and exploring the outdoors through hiking. I look forward to growing both personally and professionally with the Bump team and to making a positive impact!

Hello! My name is Chelsea. I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, a Minor in Kinesiology, and a Diploma in Social Policy Issues. I will be taking the CSEP pre/postnatal exercise specialization and want to one day run group fitness classes for new mommas. 

I am passionate about all things Women’s Health & Fitness. Playing a role in the recovery process for women to get back into being their best, healthiest selves post pregnancy, is very exciting to me. I am dedicated to making their experience as smooth and positive as possible and I am grateful to get started working with the wonderful team of women at Bump Physio! 

I played varsity softball throughout university and have also played various other sports including ice hockey, volleyball and rugby. I love being active and doing anything outdoorsy whether that’s ‘gym-ing,’ running, hiking, swimming, beaching, camping…I’m down!

Lucia grew up playing soccer and box lacrosse. She played soccer and studied Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. Following her first year, she unfortunately tore her ACL. This put her career on hold. She was always interested in the idea of becoming a physiotherapist one day. The recovery process following her injury solidified that idea. She is now studying Kinesiology and is on the path of fulfilling her dream of becoming a physiotherapist. 

Lucia obtained her Personal Training certification through NASM and has been training clients for almost 3 years. She is a Pain Free Performance specialist, an Athletic Development coach, and a spin instructor. She enjoys watching her clients achieve their health & fitness goals. 

Lucia enjoys going to the gym in her free time, going on walks, spending time with her friends and family and taking care of her cat Nala. She is very excited about being apart of the Bump team! 

Hi, I’m Abby! I’m originally from South Africa, but I have called the Vancouver area home for the past 16 years. I’m passionate about traveling the world, exploring the great outdoors, and capturing life’s moments through my camera lens. I thrive on connecting with new people and creating authentic experiences.

With 5 years of front desk experience, I bring a wealth of client experience expertise to the table.

In my free time, you’ll find me indulging in my hobbies: doing photography, hiking, running, flying with my dad, backcountry camping, snowboarding, swimming, and paddle boarding.

From the age of 9 to 21, I competed internationally in Equestrian Vaulting (think gymnastics and dance on horseback), representing both South Africa and Canada at two world championships. This sparked my passion for health and staying active and it continues to inspire me and those around me, I love sharing my journey and perspective on living a vibrant, healthy life with other people, especially women.

I’m from a quaint fishing town in Nova Scotia, known as the lobster capital of the world! While I’m East Coast born, I was raised in the vibrant heart of Vancouver, BC. Living in British Columbia, I truly appreciate the rich diversity of our province, but I still cherish returning home to enjoy a slower-paced lifestyle.

When I’m not working, you can find me binge-watching documentaries with my cat or unwinding through yoga. After exploring various post-secondary courses at Douglas College, I discovered my passion for the administrative and client experience field. With over 15 years of experience, I’ve learned many valuable lessons, the most significant being that compassion and kindness are essential both in the workplace and in my personal life.

I’m also passionate about my overall physical and mental well-being, recognizing how intertwined the two are. I believe pelvic health is often overlooked in terms of its importance; when your pelvic floor muscles are functioning well, your entire body feels, moves, and performs better than ever!

Hi! My name is Laura. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and have been living in BC since 2021 with my husband and daughter. I have nearly six years of experience in the Labour & Delivery and Postpartum medical field and I am also an advocate for pre/postnatal maternal mental health.

I am currently studying to be a birth doula and am very passionate about supporting parents through the birthing process. I believe that pelvic health is so important as it encompasses the entire body and overall mental well being! 

In my spare time, you can find me reading, listening to Taylor Swift, checking out a new coffee shop and spending time with my family. I am so thrilled to be joining the Bump team! 

After seven years of working in a bookstore, Lauren realized she wanted something more—a career that not only empowered her but also allowed her to make a meaningful impact in the community. Her dream of finding an inclusive, calm, and caring space led her straight to Bump Physio & Co., and she couldn’t be happier to be part of the team!

Lauren keeps herself busy with a variety of hobbies and crafts, and when the weather cooperates, there’s nothing better than getting outside for a hike.
